What does the booking process and timeline look like?

We ask that you fill out the form at the bottom of the page and include as many details as possible. Within 48 hours of recieving your request, we will reach out to schedule a complimentary consultation with no strings attached. After our consultation, we will send over a detailed proposal with visuals for you to review. The proposal will expire 2 weeks after it is sent. To secure your date, a 30% deposit is required. Once booked with will schedule 2 sessions before your wedding date to hammer out any details and do a venue walk through. We can make changes to your proposal up until a month before the wedding or event, as long as the changes do not reduce the overall proposal to more than 10%. Final details and payment will be due 30 days before your event.
Do you have a minimum?

Our minimum for weddings and large events is $1,500 and $500 for smaller parties and dinners, not including tax.

Is there a different process for full service design from Fat Saturday Studio if I want more than just florals?

No! We would love to travel for your wedding or event! Wedding within 2 hours of New Orleans will not incur a travel fee, but higher minimums may be expected. For weddings and events outside of Southeast Louisiana, a travel fee will be included and a high minimum will be expected.
We do not do one-off deliveries, but if you would like a reoccuring arrangement delivery, we would love to set that up for you!
While I’m relatively new to the floral industry, I’m certainly not new to design or the wedding industry. For over eight years, I served as the Creative Director and head screen printer for my previous company Yat Cat Print Co. in New Orleans. I created and curated artistic apparel collections from concept to finished product. That experience taught me a strong eye for composition, color, balance, texture, and attention to detail, all skills that naturally translate into floral design.
I’ve also spent more than 10 years working in the wedding industry, taking on roles ranging from bartender and event coordinator to decor rental and styling. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with many couples and understand the details that go into creating a wedding that feels personal and thoughtfully designed.
If you’ve followed my work with Yat Cat, you probably already know that I’m a bit obsessive about the details. I believe the little things matter, and I won’t consider a design finished until every element feels just right.

Why should we choose Fat Saturday over established florists in New Orleans?

Our pricing includes initial consultation, detailed proposal, 2 in person meetings ahead of the event, property conditioned and stored flowers, mechanics, delivery, on-site modifications if needed and killer customer service. If your installations do not involve high-end vases or decor rentals, you are free to take your arrangements home. If your event requires removal of the florals, we will also be responsible for breakdown and removal.
Do you only work in New Orleans?
Nope! Just fill out the form and have a general idea of what you want along with some inspiration pictures before our consultation and we will guide you in the right direction during out consultation call. We offer complete wedding design services to work with your floral arrangements, not just around them. We will help you find the right mix of colors, flowers, candles, rentals and whatever else is needed to make your vision come to life!
